Independence Day Celebration & Investiture Ceremony 2022-2023

Saifiyah Girls School observed the Investiture Ceremony and Independence Day for the session 2022-23 on 12 August 2022. The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where all the young students are prepared to take the leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. Our school acknowledged the budding young leaders and reposed the trust in them. The ceremony began by acknowledging the student council of the year 2021-22. They were awarded certificates in recognition of their selfless services. The Investiture Ceremony was conducted by handing the badges and the sashes to the newly appointed Prefectorial Body with pomp and show. The staff and students elected Shifa Zeeshan as the Head Girl and Ayesha Nadeem and Batool Quaid Johar as the Vice Head Girl. The other members of the Student Council including the House Captains and the prefects looked smart in their spic and span uniforms. The Principal, Janab Sh. Mustafa bhai Najmi addressed the students and motivated them to strive harder with a unified zeal for the betterment of the institution. He also stressed setting priorities and aiming high. The council members and prefects marched spritely and majestically to receive their badges. The captains and the prefects administered the oath with a promise that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith, and excellence. A brilliant skit by the students of Class IX and X raised the spirit of nationalism among the audience. The students of classes 1,2, 4, and 6 presented national songs. Students of Class IX and X delivered speeches to highlight the importance of this day. The day became a memorable one when the students who secured A1 grade in the AKU-EB examinations were acknowledged and given chocolates as a token of appreciation. It is a legacy of SGS to honour their dedicated teachers and which continued by presenting bouquets to all the teachers of grades IX and X. The event came to an end with a cake- cutting ceremony.
