Independence day celebrations at SGS

Our great leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has quoted ” No nation can rise to the height of glory unless your women are side by side with you”, thus young women of Saifiyah Girls School are trained and empowered to face all types of challenges for their mother land Pakistan. Their enthusiasm and love for the country was reflected today while celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day.

The day began with the special assembly and flag hoisting ceremony with our honourable guest Al Muhatrum Janab Shk. Mustafa Bharmal, Amil Saheb Adam Mohallah, our esteemed principal Janab Shk. Mustafa Najmi and all other respected staff members. The event reflected true colours of patriotism. Abreast with the ceremony, the young leaders of SGS along with the Head girl and Vice Head girl took the oath of honour to strive to the best of their abilities to serve the student community. Following this was a Grand March Pass.

Students in green and white attire sang patriotic songs, performed skits and shared their emotive views about Pakistan and its tumultuous history in speeches. Students enthusiastically took part in the Plantation drive which was arranged by the school. Moringa plants were selected as it has been praised for its health benefits. It was a truly glorious event.
