On September 13th, 2024, Saifiyah Girls School celebrated Milad un-Nabi SAW with immense joy and enthusiasm. The event, meticulously organized by the school’s dedicated faculty, was a resounding success.

As a heartwarming gesture, the school had the privilege (sharaf) of performing Kalamra khidmat in four Mohallahs: Saleh Mohallah, Saify Mohallah, Adam Mohallah, and Essa Mohallah. In the early morning, teachers and students, full of zeal, went to the Faiz-ul-Mawaid-e-Burhaniyah kitchens in these Mohallahs to prepare Kalamra for delivery. Along with the Kalamra, cards containing a special message were distributed as tokens of remembrance.

The celebrations continued on the school grounds with a lively Kalamra competition titled “Battle of Taste,” involving participants from the four Mohallahs and the students of Grade X. Each team was named in honor of one of the noble attributes of the Holy Prophet (SAW). The event was graced by the presence of respected Fatema Ben Saab from Ibrahim Mohallah, along with members of the Faiz-ul-Mawaid-e-Burhaniyah (FMB) Central and Mohallah Committees. The panel of judges included Fatema Ben Saab and two esteemed teachers of Saifiyah Girls School, who witnessed a spirited contest. Ibrahim Mohallah ultimately emerged victorious, claiming the coveted shield. The winning team from grade X was awarded gifts.

The festivities also featured a Naat competition, where students captivated the audience with their melodious voices. The students of Grade VIII secured the first position in this event. The winners were awarded with tokens of appreciation.

The day concluded with the distribution of a sweet treat of Kalamra, marking the end of a celebration filled with unity, joy, and cherished memories. This memorable occasion will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all at Saifiyah Girls School
