Saifiyah Girls School observed the Investiture Ceremony and the 76th Independence Day on 14th August 2023.

The ceremony began by reciting the verses from the Holy Quran, followed by Tilawat-ud-Dua. At around 7.55 a.m., the national anthem was played, and the Pakistan flag was hoisted by the principal, Janab. Sh. Mustafa bhai Najmi and the school flag was hoisted by the Head Moallim J. Sh. Yousuf bhai bhai Jamali.
Ms. Gul-e-Rana, with her beautiful words, began with the proceedings of the Independence Day celebrations. A brilliant skit by the students of Class IX and X raised the spirit of nationalism among the audience. The students of classes 1,2, 4, and 6 presented national songs. The winners of the quiz competition were awarded stationery packs as an appreciation for their hard work.
The Investiture Ceremony was conducted by handing the badges and the sashes to the newly appointed Prefectorial Body. The panel with the consent of the principal selected Amatullah Aun as the Head Girl and Arwa Murtaza and Fatema J Sh. Shabbir bhai as the Vice Head Girl. The other members of the Student Council, including the House Captains and the prefects, were awarded badges and sashes. The Principal, Janab Sh. Mustafa bhai Najmi addressed the students and motivated them to strive harder with a unified zeal for the betterment of the institution.
This year, the prospective candidates of the student council underwent a rigorous selection process, commencing with the meticulous construction of their resumes and culminating in a panel interview. This comprehensive procedure was designed to ascertain that the most exemplary students are duly appointed to the positions.
The day became a memorable one when the students who secured A1 grade in the AKU-EB examinations were acknowledged and given chocolates as a token of appreciation. The event came to an end with a cake-cutting ceremony by the teachers and the high achievers. The students were given cakes and popsicles as a treat for Independence Day.
